Marsh Rabbit Media was founded in August 2023 when Coral Drake and Justin Stephenson decided to combine their professional talents in digital marketing and content creation.
We specialize in crafting compelling content and developing innovative marketing strategies that elevate brands across various industries. Our mission is to help businesses grow their presence and achieve measurable success through authentic and engaging solutions.
Justin and Coral met while pursuing their Bachelor’s in English at Stetson University in 2010. After graduating, they traveled to Taiwan to teach English, marking the start of their professional careers.
In 2012, they returned to Justin’s hometown of Gainesville, Florida, where they began their journey to founding Marsh Rabbit Media.
Initially, Coral pursued one of her other passions: dogs.
She managed and marketed a boarding facility, then became a program assistant at the UF Small Animal Hospital’s departments of Neurology, Integrative, and Zoological medicines.
In 2017, she decided to pursue another passion full-time: writing, focusing on freelance content creation and SEO.
Meanwhile, Justin found work at Gleim Publications, a local publishing company specializing in accounting and aviation knowledge transfers.
He began as a word processor, editing XML and HTML code and assembling PDFs. Over the years, he was promoted to proofreader, then editor, and eventually content supervisor, managing a team of over 30 professionals. In this role, Justin coordinated the production and release of over 100 textbooks and other online media annually.
Meanwhile, by 2021, Coral’s writing business had grown considerably. She quickly gained recognition on Upwork, establishing herself as a top-rated writer.
Her success not only opened new opportunities and demonstrated the scalability of their freelance work but it also inspired Justin.
So, despite having a successful management position, the ongoing pandemic, and a baby on the way, he decided to leave his job to join her in freelance content creation and marketing full-time.
This bold move allowed them to combine their skills and meet the growing demand for their services.
Their collaboration proved so successful that in 2023, they formalized their partnership by founding Marsh Rabbit Media, enabling them to provide comprehensive digital marketing and content solutions to their clients.
Together, Coral and Justin bring a unique blend of skills and experiences to the team.
